Wow, long time no write.

I am sorry that it has been so long.  I have been very bad.  I did update our web page in March, but just don't have as much time to sit down and write as I would like.  Let's see... Since Christmas... It has been busy.

We had a great time in CA over Christmas.  There was a good turn out at the open house!  It was so nice to see people that we hadn't seen since the wedding.  Mac and I both got sick while we were out there though so ended up at the Dr. office when we got home.  Since then we have been at his office about every 3 or 4 weeks.  Mac has had a few ear infections as well as a staff infection.  I was in for what I thought was a cracked rib, but it wasn't and we never did figure out why I was in so much pain even after blood work and xrays.

We just got back from a trip to OK to see family and friends.  We were going to stay with my cousin and his wife, Harold and Cheryl Price... But Cheryl's cancer has come back so we were not able to go see them.  Please pray for her as she restarts chemo and whatever else her treatments are going to be. When we got into Edmond we took Mac to the park!  It was his first time at the park.  He went on the tire swing (there were no regular swings) and went down the slide.  We stayed with Colie's Aunt on Friday night and then went up to Katrina's Inlaw house in Chandler.  Katrina, Matt, Kalyn and Tim came down to Chandler to spend time with us.  On Sunday we went into OKC to meet Colie's Grandparents and Great Aunt & Uncle for Lunch.  Grandma & Grandpa had driven in from Kansas just to meet us for lunch.  We had a really good time.  They were glad to see Mac, since they hadn't seen him since Thanksgiving.  After lunch we drove all around looking for a Game Stop to get something for Tim and Kalyn's b-days.  Audra came out on Sunday night to visit with us at the Blackwell's house, and it was really good to see her again.  At this point I haven't downloaded any pictures, but we had a really great trip.  Mac was pretty good on the long drive up and back. On our way home we stopped in South Austin (about 1 hour & 15 min from home) for dinner.  Mac needed a break from his seat so we stopped at Texas Roadhouse.  We shared a meal and after we got done the lady cleared our plate.  I had gone to the restroom before getting back on the road and came back and we waited for her to bring our check.  A few minutes later she came back and said that someone we knew had already taken care of our check for us.  We have no idea who it was, and we searched the tables as we walked out looking for someone we knew.  It was a blessing, but we wished that we could have known who to thank.  It was a very nice ending to the trip!

Mac is now almost 8 months old.  He got his two bottom teeth on Easter morning and the Sat. after Easter.  It was a rough week because that was the week we had to stay home while waiting to find out if it was a Staff infection that he had.  Cranky boy!!!!!!!  He is working on his top teeth now I think... he has been pretty cranky again!  He rolled over off of his back for the first time on Sunday, I have been waiting for it to come, but he just wouldn't go all the way.  He also goes from a sitting position to his knees.  He isn't really crawling yet though, just turns himself around in a circle.  I took him to our little park on Thursday so that he could go on regular swings.  He really liked that.  We also put his feet in the pool... the pool guy was there cleaning it and said we could go in if we wanted, but it is still a little cool.

Colie passed his test for his Tradesman license in plumbing.  So he can now do everything he really needs to do with his job.  With more hours he will be able to get his Master plumbing license, but I think it will be another year before he gets the hours (I could be wrong though).  He has been dealing with some back & shoulder pain from a previously pulled muscle.  Please pray that it will heal and not give him any more problems.  Colie trimmed down the tree in our front yard and made a bench all the way around it using the stubs from the limbs he had cut off.  It took him between 8-10 hours I guess.  He got going on it and told me "I may have bit off more than I can chew with this project".  But it is done and it looks great.  He even stained it to match as close as possible the siding on the house.  Some evenings Mac and I sit out there and wait for him to come home (when it isn't raining or to hot and muggy).

I have been busy with Tupperware, Piano, house keeping (which I am doing poorly at), Mac, and Colie!  This month is Birthday month for Tupperware.  If you want to have an online party I would love to help you!  I can also help with wedding registries (I know quite a few people who are planning weddings!) or house warming registries or if your birthday is coming up even a b-day registry.  This month there are a lot of things a host can earn.  I have two families that I am teaching piano, that is about 4 1/2 hours per week.  It has been good for me to get back into teaching, even though I feel rusty at it.

Well I guess that is all there is right now.  We continue to pray for good health, and that we will have wisdom in Training Mac.  God bless you all!

Well it has been a long time since I was on to write.  I now have a 3 month old son Jordan McClain (Mac).  We are getting ready for a trip to CA for Christmas with my family.  We had Christmas with Colie's family yesterday... it was the only time we would be together before we all headed our separate ways.

My last day of work with Beacon Fisheries was Friday the 8th.  All week long I had been having some weird back pains on one side.  We thought maybe it was a pulled muscle, but on Friday night a new reason for the pain came to mind... Saturday it was confirmed that my reason was all to true when spots showed up.  I have Shingles.  Not fun.  I am hoping that Mac doesn't come down with Chicken pocks.  It is a real bummer because I am not sure what Christmas will be like if I can't spend time around the neices and nephews.  I also have a friend who just had a baby that I wanted to see while there, but don't know now if I will be able to.

This was our Christmas picture.  We took it on Thanksgiving at Colie's Parents house.  Matt and Trina, Tim and Kalyn and Katie were all here with us, as well as other family members from both sides of Colie's family.  We had a wonderful day.  That Saturday we had an open house.   It was very nice, and great to have the house so clean.  I am going to attempt to keep it cleaner now that I am not working.  Of course it will help when I am not sick too!!  Not much else going on right now.  I think that covers all the news.

It is hard to believe that 1 year has gone by since Colie and I said "I do."  We went to South Padre Island for the weekend to celebrate.  It was so nice to enjoy the beach!!!  To see Palm Trees - even though there weren't quite as many as you would see in CA or HI.  We shopped, walked, eat, and had a very enjoyable weekend!  Of course it is hard to get a good picture of both of us when there isn't someone else around to take them, but we tried...

We did find someone who was willing to take one for us!

On our Anniversary we didn't really get into the water we just played paddle ball, although Colie got quite wet!

As you can see from the pics "Mac" (our nickname for the baby) is getting close to joining us!  He is due on Sept 25th, and my feet show it.  They haven't been normal in weeks   We are doing everything we can to get ready for him!  I washed some baby clothes yesterday and the little socks are just so amazing.  Change is coming... it's scary, but welcome!

We have had company, company, company since June!  My parents were out for a month, and that was GREAT!

Joel and Melissa came in before 4th of July for 5 days.

July 5th kicked of the Baird family reunion, which brought Colie's sisters from MO in for over a week. (They didn't stay at our house most of the time, but we were always trying to get together!)

In Aug. Tracy (otherwise known as Kacy to my brother and sister-in-laws - the little ones) came for a 10 day visit.  She is a friend from my CA BSF group.

I guess I need to make my pics smaller before I try to put them in... I ran out of space... So you don't get a picture of Tracy unfortunately.  This is the first time I have actually ever put pictures in so you should be really proud of me!!!   Also in Aug our church moved back into our building - even though the big sanctuary is not rebuilt yet.  So we are now holding two services.  At the early service (and I do mean early), Colie is leading singing and I am playing the piano.

Anyway, We have been busy, but are doing well.  Enjoying life and looking forward to the new challenges and blessings ahead.

For those of you who haven't heard, we found out in January that we have a baby on the way.  Due at the end of September, about two weeks after Brandon's 4th is due.  We went to CA at the end of January to help my parents celebrate 40 years of marriage, as a surprise.  And shocked them with the baby news!  We also got to see my 2nd nephew Aurynn's baby dedication, and visit people at church.  Of course we hit Disneyland... how could we not?

After coming back from CA morning sickness took it's toll.  But I am happy to report it is subsiding!

We are currently getting ready for a trip to Boston for the Seafood Show!  Colie gets to come with me so we can see the city together when we are not attending the convention.  I am hoping to get to meet many of my customers who I have spoken to for 2 1/2 years but never met!  It will be fun.
